  • Fachtagung Urbane Waldgärten 2025

    Berlin , Germany

In view of the increasing demands placed on urban green spaces (climate protection, biodiversity, increased pressure of use, desire for participation, urban gardening, etc.), urban forest gardens can serve as a novel, multifunctional solution. One of the aims of the ‘Urban Forest Gardens’ project is to provide practical experience with model projects, familiarise various stakeholders with the concept of forest gardens in the city, and reduce the barriers to entry for the implementation of urban forest gardens. With this goal in mind, we invite you to our nationwide, participatory symposium, which will take place from 25 to 28 September in Berlin.

  • Worshop: the basics of syntropic agroforestry

Rehfelde Dorfstraße 40, Rehfelde, Brandenburg, Germany

UNFORTUNATELY, THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED
Immerse yourself in the basics of syntropic agroforestry and learn how regenerative agricultural systems can shape our future in a sustainable way. Syntropic agroforestry and regenerative agriculture are fundamental tools in the fight against the crises of our time. It is based on the principles of natural succession and a deep understanding of resilient ecosystems. This makes it one of the most complex human-created ecosystems that builds soil fertility and functions as independently as possible from external resources. It is a practice that impressively demonstrates how food production, carbon storage, nature conservation, climate protection, and a massive increase in biodiversity can be combined on the same area of land.
